Rules for Successful Vaccination

• Vaccinate healthy birds only — sick birds respond poorly.
• Water vaccines: withhold water 1–2 hours first, then mix vaccine into clean, chlorine-free water (add stabilizer/skim milk powder).
• Keep vaccines cold (2–8°C) until use; use within 2 hours of mixing.
• Vaccinate early morning when it is cool.
• Keep records: date, vaccine, batch and bird count.

Newcastle Signs

Twisted necks, paralysis, green diarrhea, gasping, sudden mass deaths. There is no cure — vaccination is the only protection. If you see signs, isolate sick birds immediately and contact a specialist.
